Chocolate Milk was the big treat this weekend. A puppy dog look and polite, “please” from a well behaved three-year-old at the store on Saturday melted my heart and I bought a box of Nestle Quick Mix.

Everyone had a glass when we got home. Through out the rest of the weekend, the content of the box quickly disappeared. On Sunday, I was making a glass for the 20 month-old when Daniel walked into the kitchen.

Daniel stood for a moment watching me stir the mix into the cup of milk.

Suddenly he interjected, “You know mom, I prefer mine shaken not stirred.”

That sounds like what my Aspie would say.

Mine loves the strawberry quik mix. Every morning and every night. But his has to be warm most of the time.
