Humor in the IEP Process

It is IEP season in our home. We have meetings, conferences and Functional Behavioral Assessments. This is a stressful season for me. Today, I saw this on Facebook. I think I will be using this technique to deal with the frustrating and occasionally illogical aspects of the IEP:

    Love this post. I often think about acting out at an IEP Meeting to see what kind of response I get from the IEP Team. At one of my FBA meetings they actually admitted that they didn’t know how to fill out the forms.

      Thank you! At an FBA meeting, I had the principal say to the FBA professional from the school district that it appeared [my Aspie Son] needed an aid. Her reply, “Well do you have that in your budget?” I was floored!
